About The Position

Gold Spike, a unique bar and nightlife venue under DTP Companies, is a re-imagined historic hotel and casino, now serving as Downtown Las Vegas’ premier adult playground, open 24/7 with oversized interactive games, special events, and music. The company is seeking an individual who is extremely flexible, eager to tackle new challenges, and comfortable working in an unconventional and fun environment. This is an unarmed security position focused on protecting company assets, personnel, guests, and property from theft, vandalism, and other threats.
Requirements
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong observational and problem-solving skills
- Must have proven track record of personally providing excellent customer service
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions
- Must be able to obtain and maintain work cards required for this position at all times
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a security position in a nightclub environment, preferred
Responsibilities
- Protect company assets, personnel, guests, and property from theft, vandalism, and other threats.
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas on foot to ensure a visible and proactive security presence.
- Evaluate incidents and determine the appropriate course of action in accordance with company policy and safety procedures.
- Respond promptly to alerts, emergencies, and incidents involving suspicious or unlawful activity.
- Investigate and document suspicious activities, accidents, or breaches of security.
- Report and track all incidents to management in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders, as needed.
- Provide assistance to employees and guests while ensuring company policies are upheld.
- Maintain a high level of visibility and professionalism at all times.
