Olympic Bar, located in the lobby of the historic Fairmont Olympic Hotel, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Full Time Bartender to join our dynamic team. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
At least two years high volume restaurant serving experience preferred
Luxury dining experience preferred
General knowledge of Alcoholic beverages
Working knowledge of wine & wine-pairings; Advanced knowledge preferred

Must hold authorization to work in the USA
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must possess a valid Washington State Alcohol MAST Permit (Class 13)
Must possess a valid Washington Food Worker Card
Must be able to read, write and speak English
Must possesses excellent communication skills
Must be professional in appearance and demeanor
Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays
Must have a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests.

Responsibilities

Create an outstanding dining experience for our guests by ensuring their needs are met promptly
Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages including cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages, with impeccable presentation and attention to detail
Have an extensive knowledge of all menu items and their preparation
Take guest orders while making menu recommendations
Set up and maintain a clean and organized dining area
Assist with table turnover and maintain a smooth flow of service during peak hours
Collaborate with colleagues and kitchen staff to ensure guest satisfaction
