About The Position

The Bartender receives and prepares beverage orders, mixing alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks according to standard beverage recipes. The role serves guests and cocktail servers, processes transactions, maintains an accurate bank, and keeps the bar area and equipment clean. The bartender also prepares written requisitions and orders for bar stock and maintains the ice supply.

The schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Monday and Tuesday from 4:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.; and Wednesday and Thursday off.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a bartender preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and prepare beverage orders from customers and cocktail servers.
• Mix alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages according to standard beverage recipes.
• Serve beverages in accordance with established service procedures.
• Operate the cash register, complete transactions according to procedures, and maintain an accurate bank.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the bar area and equipment, including removing used glasses and napkins, emptying ashtrays, and wiping the bar top.
• Greet and communicate with guests in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Prepare written requisitions and orders for bar stock.
• Maintain and replenish the ice supply.
