About The Position
The Bartender at Nobu, Hotel del Coronado, provides food and drink service and creates memorable guest experiences. The role involves mixing, garnishing, and serving beverages to recipe standards; maintaining bar supplies and product quality; processing payments; and supporting a safe, compliant environment. The position is seasonal.
Responsibilities
- Provide upbeat, friendly service and proactively seek ways to make guest experiences special.
- Mix, garnish, and serve beverages according to recipe standards, ensuring accuracy and guest satisfaction.
- Stock and organize beverages, glassware, perishables, and other bar supplies.
- Use the point-of-sale system to process cash, credit and debit cards, gift certificates, and vouchers accurately.
- Manage inventory and maintain the freshness and quality of beverage-related items.
- Address situations involving intoxicated guests with care and respect, maintaining a safe environment.
- Follow health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.
