About The Position

The Lambertville Station Restaurant and Inn, a member of Genesis Hospitality and Dining, is seeking an observant and efficient Bartender to work with the team to provide quality, prompt customer service. This is a part-time position requiring weekend availability. The Bartender helps clean the bar, prepare garnishes, and keep the bar stocked. The role requires knowledge of menu items and a focus on providing excellent guest service.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. Standing and walking are frequently required.
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and focus.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Present bar and wine lists to bar and restaurant guests.
• Assess bar guests’ preferences and make recommendations.
• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for guests.
• Interact with guests, take orders, and serve drinks.
• Restock and replenish bar inventory.
• Comply with food, beverage, and alcohol regulations.
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and serve wine, bottled beer, and draft beer.
• Process guest bills or payments and balance cash receipts.
• Communicate with guests to resolve complaints and ensure satisfaction.
• Enforce rules and regulations.
• Clean the bar and prepare garnishes.
