About The Position

Chompie’s Restaurant and Deli, a JRI Hospitality brand, is seeking hospitality-focused, experienced bartenders to provide guests with exceptional service and quality. Bartenders recommend beverages based on guests’ needs and preferences, communicate professionally and warmly, and help create a memorable guest experience while supporting business goals. The role includes preparing alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, mixing classic and innovative cocktails, maintaining a clean, stocked, and organized bar, and checking identification to ensure customers meet the legal drinking age. The position is in person at a full-service restaurant and may be full-time or part-time. Shifts may be four or eight hours and may include days, evenings, and weekends. Compensation is $10.85 per hour plus tips.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older.
Bartender experience and knowledge of preparing and mixing beverages.
Available and flexible to work a variety of hours, including days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

Greet and serve guests with a positive disposition and strong teamwork and communication.
Keep the bar clean, well-stocked, and organized to provide a welcoming environment.
Prepare alcoholic and other beverages, including classic and innovative cocktails.
Check customers’ IDs to ensure they meet the legal drinking age.
Interact with guests and make menu and beverage recommendations based on their needs and preferences.
Deliver professional, friendly hospitality and contribute to an enjoyable guest experience.
