About The Position

Bucknell Golf Club, located in Lewisburg, PA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Bartender/Server! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. This is a seasonal position that will last 6 months or less.

Requirements

• Must be of legal age to serve liquor according to state law.
• Working knowledge of beer, wine and liquor and common drink recipes
• Must have strong customer/guest orientation
• Organized, able to work well in fast paced environment
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be dependable

Nice To Haves

• 1-2 years of bartending experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional appearance at all times
• Maintains a supply of all bar products/supplies, including all glassware, expendable paper and other supplies
• Maintains the sanitation and cleanliness of the bar area(s), glassware and equipment
• Assures that all laws applicable to food and beverage operations are consistently followed
• Provides food and beverage service to guests
• Prepares and serves food as needed
• Collects payment for food and drinks served
• Greets and provides immediate attention to guests
• Learn the names of regulars and personally recognize them
• Monitor guest experience and take appropriate action to assure the best customer service.
• Inspects the bar prior to opening to ensure adequate supplies and inventory are available
• Prepares garnishes, mixes and pre-mixed drinks
