About The Position

As a Starbucks Barista, you create a warm and welcoming space where coffee helps spark connection. You engage with customers, help brighten their day, and prepare beverages and food to standard recipes or customized to their preferences. The role suits someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in their work, and can thrive in a fast-paced store environment. No previous experience is required. Requirements

Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Able to meet store operating policies and standards, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Able to learn quickly.
Able to understand and carry out oral and written instructions, and request clarification when needed.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers, understand their needs, and respond through clear and pleasant communication.
Prepare food and beverages according to standard recipes or customer customizations, including changes to temperature, ingredient quantities, or ingredient substitutions.
Follow store operating policies and standards for product quality, cash handling, and store safety and security.
Perform a variety of tasks within the store during each shift.
Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
