About The Position
As a Starbucks Barista, you help create a warm and welcoming space where coffee sparks connection. Each shift is an opportunity to brighten customers’ days through friendly service, such as offering a warm smile or remembering a favorite order. Baristas prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized customer specifications, engage with customers to understand and respond to their needs, and perform a variety of store tasks while following operating, cash-handling, safety, and security standards. Responsibilities
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Follow store operating policies and standards, including quality standards for beverages and food products, cash handling, and store safety and security.
- Engage with customers, discover their needs, and respond through clear and pleasant communication.
- Prepare food and beverages according to standard recipes or customize them for customers, including changes to temperature, ingredient quantities, or substitutions.
- Perform a variety of tasks within the store during each shift.
