About The Position

Intelligentsia Coffee is hiring a Barista for its Santa Monica coffeebar. The role prepares and serves beverages to freshness and quality standards, provides hospitable and friendly guest service, and maintains coffee knowledge to educate guests. New hires receive extensive training and generally are expected to become full-bar capable within 90 days. Starting pay is $19.83 per hour, increasing to $20.62 per hour after certification. The position is eligible for tips, which average $7.00–$9.00 per hour. The expected schedule is 20–30 hours per week, with shifts averaging about seven hours. Weekend availability is required. Employees who consistently work more than 20 hours per week are eligible for the benefits package described in the posting. Requirements

• Speak and read English proficiently.
• Be dependable, with good attendance and punctuality.

• Have weekend availability.
