About The Position

Intelligentsia is hiring a Barista for its Santa Monica coffeebar. The role includes comprehensive coffee training, with a new hire generally expected to become full-bar capable within 90 days. The position starts at $19.83 per hour; after certification, the rate increases to $20.62 per hour. The position is eligible for tips, which average $7.00–$9.00 per hour. Shifts average about seven hours, and the expected schedule is 20–30 hours per week.

Employees who consistently work more than 20 hours per week are eligible for a benefits package. Requirements

• Speak and read English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Follow operational policies, safety standards, and protocols, and suggest improvements to operations.
