About The Position

Stew Jr’s Coffee Market is hiring a positive, outgoing, and dependable Barista to help launch a new coffee venture at Mills Ford in Brainerd. The coffee market serves handcrafted coffee, specialty teas, energy drinks, and other beverages to the local community. The Barista welcomes Guests, prepares drinks, operates beverage and payment equipment, and helps maintain a clean, organized, and stocked service area. The role involves working efficiently in a fast-paced environment and supporting fellow Team Members to create a welcoming experience.

Requirements

• Positive, outgoing personality and a passion for coffee and excellent Guest service.
• Strong attention to detail and organization, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work scheduled shifts, including mornings and occasional weekends as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Previous barista, coffee shop, or food service experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience preparing espresso drinks and specialty beverages and operating coffee equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome Guests with a friendly attitude and create a positive experience.
• Prepare handcrafted coffee, espresso drinks, specialty teas, energy drinks, and other beverages.
• Learn drink recipes and help Guests discover their favorites.
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, payment systems, and other beverage equipment.
• Keep the coffee stand, equipment, and service areas clean, organized, and stocked.
• Process cash and credit card payments accurately.
• Work efficiently, multitask, and support fellow Team Members.
• Help create a welcoming coffee experience that encourages Guests to return.
