About The Position

Provide quality barista services in accordance with established guest service and sustainability standards. Take coffee, beverage, and food orders; enter orders into the POS system; collect payment; and prepare orders. Maintain coffee cart areas, tables, work areas, dishes, utensils, and equipment. Complete opening and closing duties, keep supplies and tools stocked, and ensure appliances are operated at the appropriate times. Handle cashier duties, including obtaining change, counting the bank, completing cashier reports, resolving discrepancies, and securing receipts and the bank. Follow applicable food and alcoholic beverage regulations, company and safety policies, and HHM’s EarthView sustainability practices. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions, complete required safety training, and perform other duties as requested by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Barista experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take coffee, beverage, and food orders, enter them into the POS system, collect payment, and prepare orders.
• Bus coffee cart areas and tables.
• Complete opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies and tools and cleaning equipment and areas.
• Ensure appliances are turned on and off at the appropriate times.
• Stock and maintain work areas.
• Clean dishes, utensils, work areas, tables, and equipment throughout the day.
• Obtain change for the expected business level.
• Count the bank at the end of the shift, complete cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure the bank.
• Follow state, federal, and corporate requirements related to food and alcoholic beverages.
• Follow company, safety, and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions; and complete safety training and certifications.
• Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.
• Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment, and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
