About The Position
The Barista prepares and serves drinks and food items in a warm, inviting manner while providing friendly service to hotel guests and other patrons. The role involves building rapport with customers by learning their names and favorite drinks and food items, and sharing knowledge of coffee and tea regions, flavor differences, and blends. Restaurant experience is preferred, but training is available for candidates eager to learn and positively impact guests.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Food Handler’s Permit.
- Ability to think on your feet and work calmly under pressure.
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and to carry or lift up to 25 pounds, walk, bend or twist, and climb stairs.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in the food and beverage industry, preferably in a restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve drinks and food items.

- Take orders and relay them to team members for preparation.
- Maintain inventory by replenishing coffee beans and food supplies and stocking brewing equipment.
