About The Position
As a Starbucks Barista, you create a warm and welcoming space where each cup of coffee can spark connection. You help brighten customers’ days through friendly service, such as offering a warm smile or remembering a favorite order. The role suits someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, engaging with people, and taking pride in their work. Starbucks provides developmental experiences to support partners’ growth.
Requirements
- No previous experience is required.
- Be available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to build relationships.
Responsibilities
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Follow store operating policies and standards, including those for beverage and food quality, cash handling, safety, and security.
- Engage with customers, understand their needs, and respond through clear and pleasant communication.
- Prepare food and beverages according to standard recipes or customer customizations, including changes to temperature, ingredient quantities, or substitutions.
- Perform a variety of tasks within the store during each shift.
