About The Position

Flagship is hiring a full-time Barista at a premier client’s office space. The Barista greets employees and prepares and serves hot, cold, and specialty beverages. This is a Monday-through-Friday role, working from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with no weekends or holidays. The kitchen is described as a hub for collaboration, mentorship, and personal growth.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience creating common coffee beverages and highly specialized drink orders.
• Excellent listening and communication skills for interacting effectively with coworkers and customers.
• Basic coffee knowledge, including preparing common coffee beverages.
• Exceptional customer-service and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact positively and prevent or resolve conflicts.
• Strong teamwork skills for working efficiently with other Baristas in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Attention to detail when handling customer requests and assembling high volumes of beverages with minimal errors.
• Time-management and organizational skills for working efficiently in a high-volume workplace.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Active Handlers’ Card (ServSafe) and compliance with local food-handler requirements.
• Reliable punctuality and attendance.

• Advanced coffee knowledge, such as roasting and grinding processes, coffee bean sourcing, and flavor differences.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks, including coffee, tea, and specialty beverages.
• Take orders and customize beverages as requested.
• Provide feedback to management and connect with customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, and clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, dishes, and work areas.
• Maintain inventory and manage storage and supplies.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Maintain an active Handlers’ Card (ServSafe) and comply with local food-handler requirements.
• Maintain punctuality and attendance, and perform duties responsibly and efficiently.
