About The Position

The Barista connects with guests by providing friendly, enthusiastic, professional, and timely service. The role includes serving customers, handling payments and transaction records, resolving or escalating complaints, and maintaining the cleanliness and stock of the service area. The position is part-time and requires varied hours, including weekends.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized service to all guests.
• Greet and welcome customers and deal with them politely.
• Maintain cleanliness of appliances and counter space throughout the morning, including wiping up spills and removing trash.
• Count money before a shift begins to help prevent miscalculations at the end of the shift.
• Resolve customer complaints or refer them to the restaurant manager.
• Tabulate bills, totals, and expenses in cash registers or record them on computers.
• Inform customers about available payment methods, including cash, checks, credit cards, and debit cards.
• Stock shelves and monitor items that are running low.
• Maintain records of transactions on computers.
• Dress neatly.
