About The Position
As a Starbucks Barista, you create a warm and welcoming environment where coffee and customer interactions foster connection. Each shift offers opportunities to brighten customers’ days through friendly service, attention to their preferences, and meaningful moments. The role is suited to someone who enjoys working with people in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in their work. Baristas prepare quality beverages and food, provide pleasant customer service, handle cash, and follow store policies and standards for safety and security. They may customize orders and perform a variety of store tasks during each shift. No previous experience is required. Requirements
- No previous experience required.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Be available for flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
- Meet store operating policies and standards, including those for beverage and food quality, cash handling, and store safety and security.
- Learn quickly.
- Understand and carry out oral and written instructions, and request clarification when needed.

Responsibilities
- Engage with customers, understand their needs, and respond through clear and pleasant communication.
- Prepare beverages and food according to standard recipes or customer customizations, including changes to temperature, ingredient quantities, or ingredients.
- Handle cash and meet store operating standards for product quality, safety, and security.
- Perform a variety of tasks within the store during each shift.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
