About The Position

The Barista is the foundation of the café and is responsible for providing excellent customer service and high-quality products. The role requires a positive, professional attitude and a focus on creating satisfied customers and encouraging them to return. This is a part-time hourly position at The Elizabeth Hotel and Emporium in Fort Collins, Colorado. Weekends are required.

Requirements

High school education or equivalent experience.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to hear timers and coordinate with other baristas.
Ability to check food quality and read production charts and recipes.
Ability to interact with guests in a positive, hospitable manner.
Ability to use a cash register and collect money accurately.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Ability to lift product cases weighing up to 70 lbs.
Ability to push and pull carts and regularly bend to lift items and supplies.
Ability to move around the coffee shop and stand continuously.
Ability to work in an environment involving prolonged standing, walking, lifting, and carrying throughout the shift.
