About The Position

Works independently with general supervision to create the Starbucks Experience by providing prompt service and quality beverages and products. Performs duties related to sanitation and cash register operations. This position is in the Food and Nutrition coffee shop at St. Rita's Medical Center and is listed as PRN, with scheduled weekly hours of 0.01 and a day shift.

Requirements

• High school diploma, or be at least 16 years old and have completed 10th grade.
• Customer service skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and connect with customers, providing excellent service as they select and purchase specialty beverages, coffee, sales items, and merchandise.
• Prepare customer beverage orders to Starbucks standards.
• Present oneself professionally and communicate clearly with customers and associates.
• Maintain sanitary equipment and work areas, completing assigned cleaning tasks.
• Perform equipment maintenance according to the preventative maintenance checklist.
• Maintain store operations by following standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating, and storing products.
• Work as a team player and maintain customers’ rights, including confidentiality, privacy, safety, security, and decision making.
• Perform other job-related duties as required by the supervisor, subject to reasonable accommodation.
