About The Position

The Barista helps carry out and model the mission, principles, and touchstones of Scooter’s Coffee. This role is suited to someone with a positive attitude who is passionate about food and beverages and enjoys working with people. As part of an energetic team, the Barista helps provide excellent customer service and create a positive experience for customers. The Barista prepares and serves specialty coffee and tea beverages, follows recipes and presentation standards, interacts with customers, and maintains a clean and sanitized work station. The position also requires following health and safety guidelines and performing other functions as directed. Applicants must be at least 15 years old. One or more years of customer service experience is preferred. The work involves frequent reaching, standing, walking, talking, and hearing, with mostly low physical exertion and occasional exertion of up to 25 pounds. The environment has mild to moderate noise. This position is with a Scooter’s Coffee franchisee. If hired, the franchisee will be the sole employer and independently determines employment terms, including wage and benefit programs, which may vary by franchisee.
