About The Position

Brock & Company is hiring a full-time Barista for its corporate dining operation. The Barista prepares consistent, quality coffee beverages, cappuccino, tea, and smoothies for customers, while organizing and stocking supplies and maintaining the coffee bar and equipment. Duties may also include ordering and inventory management for the station. The role requires courteous, helpful, and friendly customer service.

Brock & Company provides contract food management services to corporations and private and independent schools in the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions. The company describes its programs as focused on quality food, creative menus, and healthy, nutritious meals. Uniforms and meals are provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality coffee beverages, cappuccino, tea, and smoothies consistently for customers.
• Maintain appropriate supplies of coffees, syrups, teas, fruits, vegetables, juices, yogurts, and condiments for beverage preparation.
• Keep the coffee bar clean and safe according to supervisor instructions and applicable health, safety, and food-handling regulations.
• Clean and maintain station equipment on a scheduled basis, including the coffee maker, espresso/cappuccino machine, juicer, spoons, spatulas, and brushes.
• Organize and stock supplies.
• Provide courteous, helpful, and friendly customer service.
• May perform ordering and inventory management for the station.
