About The Position

The Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort is hiring a part-time Barista to join its Food and Beverage team. The Barista provides food and drink service while creating memorable guest experiences through warm, attentive hospitality. The role prepares coffee, tea, and specialty beverages according to standardized recipes and guest preferences; learns menu items and specials; takes and enters food and beverage orders; and serves orders promptly. The Barista also follows applicable health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations. Candidates should have customer service and barista experience, required food safety and Responsible Beverage Service certifications, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The schedule may include weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• At least three months of customer service experience.
• At least three months of barista experience.
• Valid Food Safety Certification.
• Valid Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification.
• Ability to adapt, stay organized, and perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Bring an upbeat and friendly attitude to guest interactions and proactively find ways to make the guest experience special.
• Prepare coffee, tea, and specialty drinks according to standardized recipes and guest preferences.

• Take food and beverage orders, enter them into the point-of-sale system, and complete orders promptly and accurately.
