About The Position

The Barista Supervisor oversees the department to ensure service, store standards, and merchandising programs are met. The role supports prompt, friendly guest service and offers fresh-roasted coffee, quality beverages, and products in a clean atmosphere. The supervisor guides and trains hosts, manages department operations and labor standards, and performs hands-on preparation, stocking, cleaning, and guest-service duties.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive friendly, engaging service by providing demonstrations and samples using brewing and roasting equipment.
• Achieve budgeted sales and profit; maintain daily, weekly, and period financial reports.
• Operate the department according to merchandising and operational guidelines and programs, including maintaining appropriate product and supply inventory levels.
• Provide guidance, orientation, training, and performance feedback so hosts are properly trained in product preparation and meet guest-engagement service standards.
• Prepare products, receive and stock merchandise, rotate products, and provide guest service to meet standards.
• Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks and maintain safety throughout the department according to Lowes’ Foods standards.
• Maintain the department’s labor budget and scheduling standards.
• Ensure PA announcements are performed on schedule.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
