About The Position

The Barista Clerk delivers consistent service, store standards, and merchandising programs to guests. The role provides prompt, friendly service, fresh-roasted coffee, quality beverages and products, and a clean atmosphere. The clerk prepares and serves products, maintains inventory and supplies, follows operational and merchandising guidelines, and keeps the department clean and safe.

• Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.

• Effective communication, guest service, and selling skills.
• Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Store Management and Merchandiser(s).

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, engaging guest service, including demonstrations and samples using brewing and roasting equipment.
• Follow merchandising and operational guidelines and programs, maintaining appropriate inventory levels of products and supplies.
• Prepare products; receive, stock, and rotate merchandise; and provide guest service to meet standards.
• Complete cleaning and sanitation tasks and maintain department safety in accordance with Lowes’ Foods standards.
• Make PA announcements on schedule.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
