About The Position

The Barista Clerk delivers consistent service, store standards, and merchandising programs to guests. The role provides prompt, friendly service, fresh-roasted coffee, quality beverages and products, and a clean atmosphere. Responsibilities also include preparing and stocking products, maintaining inventory and supplies, and keeping the department clean and safe.

• Ability to lift 25 pounds consistently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to read and understand information and directions.
• Ability to supervise, train, and develop people.
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Effective communication, guest-service, and selling skills.
• Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Store Management and Merchandisers.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, engaging guest service, including demonstrations and samples using brewing and roasting equipment.
• Follow merchandising and operational guidelines and programs, including maintaining appropriate inventory levels of products and supplies.
• Prepare, receive, stock, and rotate products and provide guest service to achieve department standards.
• Clean and sanitize the department and maintain safety in accordance with Lowe’s Foods standards.
• Make PA announcements on schedule.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
