About The Position

The Barista Clerk delivers consistent service, store standards, and merchandising programs to guests. The role provides prompt, friendly service; fresh-roasted coffee; quality beverages and products; and a clean atmosphere. The clerk demonstrates brewing and roasting equipment, follows merchandising and operational guidelines, prepares and handles products, maintains department cleanliness and safety, and makes scheduled public-address announcements.

• Effective communication, guest-service, and selling skills.
• Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to communicate effectively with store management and merchandisers.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, engaging guest service, including demonstrations and samples using brewing and roasting equipment.
• Follow merchandising and operational guidelines and programs, including maintaining appropriate inventory levels of products and supplies.
• Prepare, receive, stock, and rotate products and provide guest service to meet standards.
• Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks and maintain department safety in accordance with Lowes’ Foods standards.
• Make public-address announcements on schedule.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
