About The Position

The Barback assists bartenders and servers in providing prompt, seamless service. The role involves stocking bars with liquor, supplies, and garnishes; maintaining accurate inventory; cleaning bar and related areas; and running food. The position is seasonal and requires evening, weekend, and holiday availability. The work is physically demanding and includes frequently carrying cases of product up and down flights of stairs.

• Ability to meet the listed vision requirements, including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous barback, bussing, or bartending experience, or related education and certifications.
• Non-smoking candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with opening and closing duties, including restocking ice, liquor, wine, beer, garnishes, straws, and napkins.
• Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the bar and associated areas by removing soiled glassware and dishes, wiping surfaces, sweeping and mopping, scrubbing coolers and storage areas, and emptying trash.
• Understand the restaurant menus and run food.
• Take orders, prepare drinks, and process payments during peak hours or as needed.
• Provide excellent guest service, answer customer questions, and handle complaints.
• Maintain accurate records, ensure items are stored and rotated properly, and report usage to support reordering.
