About The Position

The Barback assists wait staff and bartenders across multiple outlets by expediting food and replenishing supplies and service items as needed. The role supports bar setup, opening, and closing, maintains stocked bar stations and clean glassware, and provides courteous service to guests. The work is performed in an exterior hotel environment with exposure to weather conditions and various hazardous chemicals.

Requirements

• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to bend, push, pull, and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to carry or lift at least 50 pounds.
• Current State Vendor’s Permit.

Nice To Haves

• Previous bar experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bar setup, opening, and closing.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Stock bar stations to par and maintain par levels of liquor bottles.
• Maintain clean glassware as needed.
• Become familiar with the liquors and beers sold in the bar.
• Greet guests promptly and courteously.
• Attend to bartenders’ and servers’ needs while remaining calm and courteous.
• Keep the work area clear of standing water, debris, and objects that could obstruct safe and efficient work.
• Complete other tasks assigned by management.
