About The Position

The Barback supports cocktail servers and bartenders across food and beverage service at Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek. The role helps keep the main bar stocked and service areas clean, assists with food service and table clearing, and contributes to attentive, efficient guest service. The Barback is part of the Bar team within Food & Beverage and reports to the F&B Manager, working closely with bartenders and cocktail servers.

Requirements

• Bring attention to detail, speed, and accuracy, with the ability to prioritize, organize, and follow through.
• Remain calm, use good judgment, follow directions thoroughly, and understand guests’ service needs.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues while also being comfortable working with minimal supervision and maintaining confidentiality.
• Communicate clearly with bartenders, servers, and guests.
• Read and understand instructions and safety rules in English.
• Meet the physical requirements of the role, including frequent movement throughout the work area and lifting and carrying 30–50 lbs., including overhead lifting.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a fine dining or casually elegant upscale establishment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep the main bar stocked before, during, and after each shift with beverages, glassware, linen, paper goods, consumables, condiments, and other required supplies.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the bar and service areas through regular upkeep and nightly cleaning duties.
• Support cocktail servers throughout food service, including setting silverware, serving food, and cleaning tables.
• Bus tables throughout service, promptly removing glassware and debris.
• Change tablecloths and candles as needed during service.
• Consistently maintain RMOTC standards and attend scheduled meetings.
