About The Position

The Barback supports casino bar operations by maintaining clean, stocked, and organized bar areas and equipment. The position follows guest-service standards and department and property policies, maintains uniform appearance standards, and may assist with beverage service in bars and on the casino floor. The Barback may also assist food and beverage outlets as needed and represent the department in project and company meetings.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Excellent guest-service skills.
• Friendly and outgoing demeanor.
• Ability to stand for a minimum eight-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive attitude and support Senior Management’s policies.
• Follow department and property policies and procedures for guest-service standards.
• Comply with uniform appearance standards while on duty.
• Clean bar areas and equipment and replenish bar supplies.
• Stock refrigeration units with inventory.
• Replace empty beer kegs.
• Wash glasses and bar equipment and polish bar fixtures.
• Mop floors, take out trash, and remove empty bottles.
• May assist bartenders with mixing and serving drinks.
• Keep bar areas clean and organized.
• Assist food and beverage outlets as needed.
• Fill beverage orders for food and beverage outlets, fill liquor trees, and replace empty BIBS as part of EDI duties.
• Assist with serving drinks on the casino floor when needed.
• Represent the department in specific project and company meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
