About The Position

The Barback supports bar operations by maintaining cleanliness and proper stock, keeping the bar organized for efficient service, and helping ensure a best-in-class guest experience. The role assists bar staff throughout the shift and requires open availability, including weekends and holidays without exception. Evening-shift availability is also required.

Requirements

• One year of previous experience in a similar role.
• Availability to work evenings.

Responsibilities

• Request, pick, verify, and put away requisitions for liquor, wine, beer, juices, soft drinks, and food items used in bar areas.
• Stock bar areas with liquor, wine, beer, juices, soft drinks, glassware, and condiments.
• Develop a complete working knowledge of all products served by the bar.
• Complete all side opening and closing duties.
• Respond positively to guest problems and issues to help ensure guest satisfaction.
• Follow sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies and regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
• Attend to customer needs in a friendly and professional manner.
• Operate and maintain bar equipment and tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
