About The Position

The Barback maintains cleanliness and proper stock behind the bar while helping provide a best-in-class guest experience. The role supports bar staff by keeping the bar organized for efficient service throughout the shift. Candidates must have open availability and be able to work weekends and holidays without exception. Evening-shift availability is also required.

Requirements

• One year of previous experience in a similar role.
• Evening-shift availability.
• Adequate communication skills to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
• Patience in dealing with guests.
• Open availability, including the ability to work weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Request, pick, verify, and put away requisitions for liquor, wine, beer, juices, soft drinks, and food items used in bar areas.
• Stock bar areas with liquor, wine, beer, juices, soft drinks, glassware, and condiments.
• Develop a complete working knowledge of all products served by the bar.
• Complete all side-opening and closing duties.
• Take a positive approach to guest problems and issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Follow sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies and regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
• Attend to customer needs with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Operate and maintain bar equipment and tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
