About The Position

As a Bar Porter at Excalibur, you will support efficient beverage operations and help create a positive guest experience. In a fast-paced environment, you will assist bartenders and beverage teams by keeping bar areas clean, organized, and stocked with the supplies needed for smooth service. Teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to hospitality help ensure consistent service and contribute to Excalibur’s welcoming guest experience.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Six months of food service experience.

Nice To Haves

• Some experience working in a resort setting.

Responsibilities

• Stock and serve assigned beverage outlets, maintaining inventory levels and delivering and stocking glassware, condiments, packaged beverages, paper products, and other necessary items.
• Keep beverage areas and assigned bar equipment, tools, and supplies clean, including trash removal, deep cleaning, sanitation, refrigerator and countertop cleaning, and floor mopping.
• Complete required paperwork, including bar transfers and dry-stock deliveries.
• Maintain par levels of liquor, beer, and supplies in coolers and dry storage, and order items as needed.
• Set up and break down portable bars in designated areas.
• Use the correct freight elevators and delivery routes to designated hotel areas and beverage outlets.
• Organize and maintain beverage pump rooms, storage rooms, and warehouses; identify non-stock items and alert management as necessary.
• Resolve guest complaints within the scope of authority; otherwise, refer them to management.
• Notify a supervisor and/or Security about unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft.
• Perform other job-related duties as requested.
