About The Position

As a Bar Porter, you will support beverage operations by stocking necessary items, maintaining cleanliness, and delivering excellent guest service. Attention to detail and organization help ensure the bar operates efficiently and creates memorable guest experiences. The position is at MGM National Harbor in National Harbor, Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Stock and serve assigned beverage outlets with glassware, condiments, packaged beverages, paper products, and other necessary items.
• Maintain cleanliness in beverage areas, including tools, equipment, refrigerators, countertops, and floors.
• Complete paperwork for bar transfers and dry stock deliveries.
• Maintain pars of liquor, beer, and supplies in cooler and storage areas, and order items as needed.
• Set up and break down portable bars in designated areas.
• Use proper freight elevators and delivery routes to transport items to hotel areas and beverage outlets.
• Organize and maintain beverage pump room areas, storage rooms, and warehouses.
• Notify management about non-stock items as necessary.
• Address guest complaints within the scope of authority or escalate them to management.
