About The Position

FLIK is hiring a full-time Bar Back for the Chase Sapphire Lounge at LAX in Los Angeles, California. The Bar Back receives and replenishes liquor, beer, and wine and supports bartenders and bar operations throughout each shift. The position is scheduled five days per week; days and hours may vary. The fixed pay rate is $32.65 per hour. Free meals, uniforms, and laundering service are available at select locations. The role includes retrieving food, beverages, and garnishes for the bar; setting up bottles; checking beer taps; stocking snacks and supplies; assisting with opening and closing duties; bussing tables; maintaining cleanliness and tidiness; removing rubbish; and preparing and serving beverages as needed. Other duties may be assigned. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

Requirements

At least 2 years of previous experience.
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Receive liquor, beer, and wine from the storeroom daily and as needed.
Replenish liquor, beer, and wine in the bar throughout the shift.
Retrieve food items from the kitchen and deliver them to the bar area.
Retrieve beverage items and garnishes from storerooms and deliver them to the bar area.
Set up bottles on the bar, placing top-shelf liquor on the back shelf.
Ensure beer taps are working properly.
Place appropriate bar snacks on the counter and keep supplies such as snacks and napkins stocked throughout the shift.
Assist with opening and closing side work as assigned.
Bus tables in the bar area.
Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of bar or lounge areas, including washing work tables, walls, refrigerators, and floors under equipment, and sweeping and mopping service areas and floor mats.
Remove rubbish from all receptacles.
Prepare and serve beverages as needed to assist the bartender.
Perform other duties as assigned.
