Bar Back - Oasis - (Part-Time) - Durango
About The Position
The Bar Back supports the Bartender and helps ensure guest satisfaction and comfort while maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar at the Center Bar (Oasis) at Durango. The role includes stocking beverage products and supplies, preparing in-house beverage components, batch recipes, and fresh garnishes according to daily needs, and cleaning bar equipment, coolers, surfaces, and displays. The position contributes to an approachable luxury hospitality experience and is expected to reflect the company’s values of kindness, inclusion, forward thinking, reliability, passion, and self-awareness.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years old.
- Must be able to obtain all necessary work cards.
- Ability to push or pull a cart and/or operate a pallet jack, with or without assistance.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrate kindness, inclusivity, forward thinking, reliability, passion, and self-awareness.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of types of glasses and brand names of products offered.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with and assist the Bartender to support guest satisfaction and comfort.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar.
- Stock condiments, beer, wine, liquor, ice, and other related products.
- Prepare in-house beverage components, batch beverage recipes, and fresh garnishes based on daily location needs.
- Clean the glass washer, ice machine, margarita machine, pouring guns and holders, and drip trays.
- Clean coolers and the back-bar and front-bar surfaces and display areas.
- Clean and wipe display bottles, Point of Sale displays, and other items on surfaces visible to guests or team members.
