About The Position

Frannie & the Fox is described as clever, comfortable, and cool, offering a three-meal-a-day experience that is foodie-oriented but never pretentious. The Bar Back is the behind-the-scenes support who helps make the guest experience memorable by keeping glasses spotless, ingredients fresh, and bottles ready. The role efficiently stocks, cleans, and organizes the bar while communicating and working seamlessly with bartenders. The Bar Back monitors key bar supplies, anticipates restocking needs before items run out, maintains cleanliness throughout the bar area, and understands bar equipment well enough to troubleshoot common problems during a shift. The role also requires thorough knowledge of the menu and beverage offerings, along with supporting knowledge of the brand vision and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Monitor ice, juice, syrups and mixers, spirits, glassware, and bar-top cleanliness.
Anticipate items that need restocking during the shift and replenish them before they run out.
Understand bar equipment and troubleshoot shift issues, such as low CO2 in tap lines, dishwasher cycling, and changing beer keys.
Maintain cleanliness across the bar top, bar back, waste bins, and floors.
Know the menu and beverage offerings thoroughly and support the brand vision and quality standards.
Communicate and work seamlessly with bartenders.
