About The Position

The Bar Assistant prepares bar areas for service and supports the bartender in delivering memorable guest experiences. Duties include preparing garnishes, fruit, and juices; stocking supplies; managing beer kegs and taps; assisting with inventory; keeping bar and storage areas clean; and following health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness requirements.

Responsibilities

Cut, slice, and peel garnishes and fruits, mix juices, and place prepared supplies in designated containers.
Work with the bartender to keep the bar stocked with glassware, ice, produce, condiments, and paper products.
Transport, replace, and maintain beer kegs and taps.
Retrieve storeroom orders, visually check stock, reconcile it with written requisitions, and re-check deliveries.
Keep the bar area, beer lockers, refrigerators, and storage areas clean.
Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.
