About The Position

The Assistant Bar Manager is an integral member of the hospitality team who helps manage the Beverage department, monitors operational profitability, and ensures service standards and legal obligations are followed. The role oversees casino bar operations, supports and develops bar staff, and works to provide guests with a positive experience. This position does not earn tips.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of beverage operations, including mixology, inventory control, and customer service.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Familiarity with local and state regulations governing alcoholic beverage service.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day casino bar operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and maintaining a well-stocked and clean bar area.
• Supervise and motivate bar staff, providing guidance and support to maintain a high level of service.
• Conduct regular training sessions to enhance staff skills and product knowledge.
• Maintain a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Address customer concerns and feedback promptly to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Monitor beverage quality, presentation, and adherence to established standards.
• Collaborate with the bar team to develop and implement creative drink menus.
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations governing alcoholic beverage service.
• Monitor age verification procedures and responsible drinking practices.
