About The Position

The Server Assistant provides energetic, guest-oriented support to Servers in the restaurant operation. During service, the role supplies guests with items they need, helps keep the dining area clean and clear, and communicates with the server and bar team to anticipate guest requests.

The position is at Sunset Bar, an easygoing outdoor beach bar at Naples Beach Club known for tropical cocktails, Latin-inspired bites, and live music. The role involves continuous standing for eight or more hours per day and lifting up to 50 pounds. A flexible schedule is required, including the ability to work afternoon and evening shifts, weekends, and holidays. Applicants must have current U.S. work authorization and be fluent in English.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a fast-paced Food and Beverage environment or related work experience.
• Strong ability to multitask and communicate consistently with the server and bar team.
• Good communication skills for direct guest contact.
• Fluency in English.
• Current work authorization in the United States.
• Ability to stand continuously for eight or more hours per day.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including afternoon and evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist Servers by providing water, bread service, coffee, and tea throughout meals.
• Replace silverware as needed, clear dirty dishes, anticipate guests’ needs, and communicate with team members before requests are made.
• Complete assigned opening and closing side work and set tables according to standards.
• Set and maintain stations, and break down buffets, displays, and check stations during service or as needed.
• Clear tables efficiently and quietly between guests and reset them for the appropriate number of guests.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work area.
• Provide professional, courteous, and efficient guest service, greeting each guest promptly with eye contact and a smile.
