About The Position

Join the hotel's Banquet Team and help elevate its convention services. The Banquets Houseman/Server/Bartender provides attentive, professional guest service, prepares banquet tables according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), and serves food and beverages. The role also includes resetting and organizing banquet rooms and facilities after events, replenishing and storing supplies, and maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and functionality. The position pays $10.70 per hour plus tips.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of banquet server experience in a similar role; experience in a similar-sized operation preferred.
• Ability to kneel, stoop, grasp, lift, carry, and transport 50–75 pounds.
• Manual dexterity to use food and beverage equipment.
• Ability to stand and move around meeting spaces and kitchen areas for most of the shift.

Nice To Haves

• Alcohol Beverage Servers Certification preferred.
• Food Handlers Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver thoughtful, engaging, and professional service to guests.
• Set up banquet tables according to the Banquet Event Order (BEO).
• Serve food and beverages enthusiastically, revisit tables to refill beverages, and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Reset banquet rooms after functions according to the BEO or other instructions.
• Replenish and properly store condiments and supplies after events.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, organization, and functionality of banquet facilities.
