About The Position

The Banquet Houseperson works alongside the banquet team to prepare event spaces for functions and support smooth event service. The role includes setting up and breaking down rooms, arranging furniture and tables according to event specifications, and delivering equipment, supplies, and other items to banquet servers. The houseperson maintains clean, organized banquet areas, follows safety and sanitation standards, anticipates guest needs, and collaborates with colleagues to provide a welcoming atmosphere and exceptional guest experiences.

Requirements

Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and furniture.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Set up and break down event spaces for functions.
Arrange furniture and set up tables according to event specifications.
Deliver equipment, supplies, and other items to banquet servers in a timely and efficient manner.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of banquet areas.
Collaborate with the banquet team to support seamless service and exceed guest expectations.
Anticipate guest needs and assist guests with enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
