Banquet Server

About The Position

DelMonte Hotel Group is seeking an experienced and driven Catering Server to set up and serve assigned banquet functions while providing exceptional guest service. The role includes preparing event spaces, serving food and beverages, attending to guests during meals, and cleaning and storing equipment after events. Compensation is $16.00 per hour. Comprehensive benefits are available for full-time positions.

Requirements

Three to six months of related experience; a high school diploma or GED; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Strong work ethic and drive to exceed expectations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish rapport with guests and colleagues.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Set up coffee breaks, receptions, banquet bars, and other functions as required.
Set tables according to standards and the Event Order.
Serve food and beverages during events.
Prepare mixed drinks and serve beer, wine, and other beverages according to standard recipes as needed.
Clear dirty dishes throughout meals and at their conclusion.
Observe diners to respond to additional requests and determine when meals are complete.
Become familiar with the food and beverage offerings for each function.
Break down, clean up, and store equipment following each event.
Help maintain the cleanliness of banquet rooms and surrounding areas.
