About The Position

As a Banquet Server at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Kansas City - Overland Park, you provide food and beverage service while creating memorable guest experiences. You welcome and assist guests with a friendly, upbeat attitude, learn menu items and specials, take and enter orders into the point-of-sale system, and deliver orders promptly. You also maintain a clean, stocked service station; clear and transport tableware after meals; help prepare banquet spaces and supplies; and follow health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.

Responsibilities

• Bring an upbeat, friendly attitude to guest interactions and look for ways to make the experience special.
• Learn menu items and specials to answer guest questions confidently.
• Take food and beverage orders, enter them into the point-of-sale system, and deliver completed orders promptly.
• Keep the service station stocked, clean, and organized.
• Remove dishware, glassware, and silverware after meal service and transport them to the dishwashing area.
• Assist with cleaning, arranging, and setting banquet tables, and restocking supplies for events.
• Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.
