About The Position

The Banquet Captain oversees food and beverage service at banquet functions and helps deliver memorable guest experiences. The role supervises service, monitors guest satisfaction, assists with planning and executing a range of events, supports team coordination, processes banquet checks, and ensures compliance with relevant health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.

Responsibilities

• Bring an upbeat and friendly attitude to guest interactions and proactively seek ways to make guests’ experiences special.
• Supervise food and beverage service and monitor guest satisfaction during banquet events, promptly addressing issues with product or service quality.
• Assist with planning, organizing, and executing banquet functions, including breakfasts, coffee breaks, luncheons, dinners, cocktail receptions, and galas.
• Lead and/or participate in department meetings to align and prepare the team for banquet operations.
• Accurately process banquet checks and ensure smooth payment transactions.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.
