About The Position

As a Bartender at DoubleTree by Hilton Kansas City Overland Park, you prepare and serve beverages while delivering memorable guest experiences through friendly, upbeat, and attentive hospitality. You help maintain smooth bar operations, ensure beverage quality, process payments accurately, and support a safe environment by handling guest concerns professionally and following applicable health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.

Responsibilities

• Bring an upbeat and friendly attitude to guest interactions and proactively look for ways to make the guest experience special.
• Mix, garnish, and serve drinks according to recipe standards, ensuring accuracy and guest satisfaction.
• Stock and organize bar supplies, including beverages, glassware, and perishables.
• Use the point-of-sale system to accurately process cash, credit and debit cards, gift certificates, and vouchers.
• Manage inventory and ensure the freshness and quality of beverage-related items.
• Address guest concerns professionally, including situations involving intoxicated guests, while helping maintain a safe environment.
• Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.
