About The Position

The Barista provides food and beverage service at Doubletree Kansas City Overland Park, creating memorable guest experiences through warm, attentive hospitality. The role includes preparing coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, helping guests with menu questions, taking and entering orders, and completing them promptly. The Barista also follows health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations to support the wellbeing of guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Bring an upbeat, friendly attitude to guest interactions and look for ways to make each experience special.
• Prepare coffee, tea, and specialty drinks according to standardized recipes and guest preferences.
• Learn menu items and specials to assist guests and answer questions.
• Take food and beverage orders, enter them into the point-of-sale system, and complete orders promptly and accurately.
• Follow health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.
