About The Position

Banquet servers set up event spaces and accommodate guests throughout functions by circulating the room, anticipating guest needs, and following banquet standards and company policies. The role includes preparing tables and buffets, delivering plated meals professionally and promptly, and maintaining health and safety standards. Servers work under general supervision, follow established procedures, and may use occasional independent judgment to complete assignments and recommend improvements to work procedures, policies, and practices. The position may require driving company vehicles to off-property banquet venues, subject to company requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Obtain food handlers and alcohol ServSafe certificates upon onboarding.
• Good communication skills.
• Teamwork and dedication.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass company requirements for driving company vehicles.
• Regularly walk, stand, and lift up to 50 pounds; the work may involve bending, climbing stairs, and carrying items weighing 25–50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up event spaces, including flatware, napkins, centerpieces, glassware, table placement, and buffets.
• Accommodate guests during functions, anticipate their needs, and circulate throughout the room.
• Deliver plated meal courses quickly and professionally according to service standards.
• Adhere to health and safety standards and company policies.
• Follow directions efficiently and maintain a positive, energetic attitude during shifts.
• Complete tasks in a timely manner and check out with a supervisor before leaving at the end of a shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Drive company vehicles to off-property banquet venues when required and after meeting company requirements.
