About The Position
The Banquet Server delivers service during events and functions at The Club at Twin Lakes in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The role includes setting up banquet rooms, serving food and beverages, and helping ensure a seamless dining experience. The position suits attentive, personable individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy contributing to memorable occasions. The work schedule varies and includes holidays and weekends. The role requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 35 pounds, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and crouching. Job duties and responsibilities may change depending on business needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to remember and recite menu items.

Responsibilities
- Set up banquet rooms as instructed by the supervisor.
- Attend roll call meetings before events to learn function details, including guest and hotel expectations.
- Serve food and beverages in the order and manner expected by the supervisor to ensure consistency throughout the banquet.
- Replenish beverages as necessary and check with guests for overall satisfaction.
- Promptly remove dishes as guests complete each course and/or meal, and clear dishes at the end of the meal or function.
- Respond to guests’ special requests and resolve guest complaints.
- Follow state, federal, and corporate requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.
- Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment, and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
